Sundance Blues Info Page

Yes, Jimmy "Guitar Magic" (that's me) really has a home page.
Who is Jimmy "Guitar Magic", you ask? Or maybe you didn't ask, but here it is anyway. Anyway, here's a short (and I do mean short) bio: Born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana, along with Kenny Wayne Shepherd, I developed a real liking for guitar about the age of 12 or 13 when my dad bought me my first Telecaster knockoff. Right now, I'm living in far northern part of Garland. Texas, that is. (Pay attention when I'm talking boy!) Along the way, I spent a couple of years in the Memphis, Tennessee area -- home of Muddy Waters and B.B. King.
I started the usual route; classical and Jazz guitar until I was out of high school. Then I just naturally drifted into what I consider my musical roots; BLUES! After all, I am from the deep South. My musical ambitions are very simple: Develop and nurture my own sound (in the blues-based rock vein), cut a few records, and tour until I drop. You get the basic idea.
About the page: I must admit that it is pretty primitive - right now. However, I plan on adding things like a picture of me, my guitar rig, and maybe some of me playing at B.B. King's Blues Club (in Memphis) on stage with "Little" Jimmy King (another Jimmy, there's too many of us), some of me at Blues City Cafe Band Box, and maybe some from Horny's right here in Fort Worth. Shoot, I might even put in a few things about Rusty *politely jabbing him in the arm to get his own page up and running*.
So, until I get the ball rolling and set up an even cooler page (i.e., put different things on different pages, making overall loading time quicker), you can cruise a few of these other VERY cool sites -- and PLEASE, while you're here, enjoy yourself, you guitar players and all the fans.
Just keep in mind that this site is definitely under construction. (Some of these links may not still work, but I can vouch for most of them) If you like you can leave either of us (me or Rusty) some E-Mail at
