Welcome to our home page. My name is Jimmy Owen and I play lead guitar and do most of the vocals.
And no, that's not my guitar up there. (Too bad! – used to have one but traded
it for a “better” one.) I have been blessed with the company of truly great musicians
here in the DFW area. Along with myself on lead guitar, some other members of
Sundance Fusion are Rusty Burns * (Lead Guitar and Bass as well as our CD Producer, Sound Engineer and
main cheer leadr), Jeff Hoffman (Keyboards), Jeff Williams * (Keyboards – formerly with Reba), Mike
Hamilton (Keyboards), Mike
Gage (Drums), Buzzy Gruen
* (Drums) and Chuck
Rainey * (Bass – formerly with Steely
Dan), a new guy to the group Stephan Prigmore (Guitar, Bass, Singer, etc.) and finally, new to
the group but a great friend and the drummer from my Janna Britton days, in the
fashion of Gene Kruppa, Mike del Veccio.
BTW, all those with an * after their name are presently playing here the DFW area with Bigfoot Johnson. Oh, and I also played lead guitar for Janna Britton and Abbeville – on thier CD, "Dipped In Chocolate." I hope to have the first CD by “Sundance Fusion – It Is What It Is” out by the end of March, 2006. Meanwhile, here are some links to three of my songs – I think that you will REALLY like Selah. J .
